I may be a personal trainer now, but I haven’t always been into exercising.

Trust me: for the majority of my life, I was not into physical activity. Always the kid who’d rather side on the sidelines and read a book, I was never picked first in gym glass and always dreaded going to soccer practice.

In fact, I had never intentionally worked out or stepped into a gym a day in my life until I was about to turn 30 years old. Then, realizing the toll the COVID-19 pandemic had taken on my mental and physical health, I decided to shake things up and try something new - working out.

I started by connecting with a personal trainer, who not only taught me what all those machines, weights and tools in the gym were for, but how to use them to take better care of my body - and how to feel better on every level. And although the things I lost were great (including 50+ lbs and a pre-diabetes diagnoses), what I gained was even better: the courage to try new, uncomfortable things, a love for movement and genuine confidence in my abilities.

Now, I’m ready to do the same for others. Whether you’re interested in incorporating new habits for the first time in your life, want to get back to a level of fitness you’ve already achieved or are looking to take things to the next level, I’m here to support you, every step of the way.

Where I Train

I conduct all of my personal training sessions out of the Sweat Shop Fitness Club, located in Kensington, Maryland. A local business with a tight-knit and welcoming community, the Sweat Shop will become your new favorite place to work out.

My Credentials

I earned my personal training and CPR certifications through the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA). I’m currently working on additional certifications focused on corrective exercises as well as strength and conditioning.
